Arcelor Mittal Kryviy Rih to build a new sinter plant

Arcelor Mittal Kryviy Rih plans to build a new sinter plant of 9 mtpy capacity. Now the company has ordered a feasibility study at UkrGipromez and chosen the site for the new facility construction. A final decision on construction time, investments and design capacity of the plant will be made after issuing of the feasibility report scheduled for completion in 2-3 months.

After commissioning of the new sinter plant the company is going to take the existing sinter plant out of operation. All sinter plants of the company produced 11.4 million of sinter in 2006.
